Not Returning in 2026?
If your child is not returning to Xavier in 2026 (except students in Year 6), could you please inform the Office in writing by Friday 14 November. It is a government requirement that you advise Xavier of the new school your child will be attending.

Faith in Action at Xavier
Xavier Catholic School is proud to nominate our community for the 2025 Archbishop’s Spirit Award, celebrating our collective efforts to support LifeLink charities across Perth. This nomination is a special way to honour the Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope.
Sacrament of Confirmation

Grandparents Day Liturgy
Wow! What a terrific turn out for this morning’s Grandparents’ Day Liturgy! It was wonderful to see the huge smiles on the faces of the students and grandparents as they joined together for a lovely celebration. Thank you to Fr Mark for celebrating the liturgy and to Mrs Konle for all her outstanding work behind the scenes. Well done to our school choir on their efforts too.
Socktober Day
This year’s Socktober Day will be held on Friday 31 October. For a gold coin donation, staff and students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their favourite socks in support of Catholic Mission. Thank you to Miss Gumina for organising this fundraising event.
School Fees
As there are only 7 weeks until the end of the school year, this is a reminder to all families that payment of outstanding school fees must be finalised by 1 December 2024. The payment of fees is part of the contract of enrolment and is essential for the efficient financial management of the school. Please do not hesitate in contacting myself or Finance Officer, Rosa Bicknell if you would like to discuss your child’s school fees.
World Teacher's Day
Next Wednesday, the P&F will acknowledge the Xavier staff for the work they do within the school and in recognition of World Teachers’ Day (5 October) by providing lunch. This year’s World Teachers’ Day theme is “Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession.” Thank you to all our wonderful staff.
Interschool Athletics Carnival
On Monday 27 (Field) and Tuesday 28 (Track) October, a select number of our students will be competing in this year’s Interschool Athletics Carnival to be held at Gerry Archer Reserve. We would like to wish all our competitors the best in their endeavours, and we hope they do themselves and the school proud.
Golf Clinic
Across two lessons, students in Years 4 to 6 participated in a Golf WA clinic. During the sessions, students were introduced to the fundamental skills of golf, including grip, stance and swing.
Annual Community Meeting
This year’s ACM will occur on Wednesday 26 November at 6pm. It is hoped that parents will consider nominating for any P&F and/or School Advisory Council positions that have become available.
