Lord Jesus Christ, for the sake of Your Holy Cross, be with me to shield me.
Lord Jesus Christ, by the memory of Your blessed cross, be with me to strengthen me.
Lord Jesus Christ, for Your glorious cross, go before me to direct my steps.
Lord Jesus Christ, for Your noble cross, be You in me to lead me to Your kingdom. Amen!

A HUGE thank you to the P&F for their invaluable assistance with last week’s Father’s Day Breakfast and Stall. Well done to the Year 2 Gold class for organising the Father’s Day Liturgy. We hope all dads and father figures enjoyed the morning festivities and had a wonderful Father’s Day.
Excitement in MJR Club
This term, the MJR Club had a great time planning, making and sharing chocolates with our loved ones. We made a shopping list, formed cooperative teams and shared all of the delicious mix-ins to make molded choccys. Then we wrapped them in cellophane, wrote a note telling someone special that we were thinking of them and gave them our yummy presents. There were MJR virtues demonstrated all throughout the process. Special thanks to Mrs Gerrick for her assistance mixing, melting and cleaning chocolate. We look forward to more MJR adventures throughout the rest of the year.
RU OK? Day
Yesterday, the school acknowledged RU OK? Day, with all year grades completing various buddy activities in class. The activities focussed on kindness and looking out for others.

Local Government Incursion
On Tuesday 1st September, the Year 4 students enjoyed a visit from Miss B from the City of Armadale. Miss B shared valuable information about local government and the history of the Armadale area, helping students gain a deeper understanding of their community. She also brought along a collection of fascinating historical artefacts, explaining how they were used by people in the local area at the turn of the century. The students were highly engaged throughout the presentation and enjoyed learning about the past through these hands-on examples. We would like to thank Miss B for taking the time to visit Xavier and for delivering such an informative and engaging session.

This year’s Book Week theme is – “Symphony of Stories.”
Not Returning in 2027?
If your child is not returning to Xavier in 2027 (except students in Year 6), could you please inform the Office in writing by Monday 9 November. It is a government requirement that you advise Xavier of the new school your child will be attending.
Student Absences
It is a legal requirement that parents/care givers provide the school with a reason for their child’s absence (sickness, holiday etc.,) every day they are away from school. Teachers will be contacting parents/care givers over the next few weeks to try and resolve any outstanding absences, including those from first Semester.
