Parent Teacher Meetings

Thank you to all the parents from Pre-Primary to Year 6 for making the time on Tuesday to meet with your child’s classroom teacher.  I hope this opportunity provided you with a greater insight into your child’s academic, social, and emotional progress so far this year.  As this is part of the school’s formal reporting process, teachers will be in contact with those parents who either did not attend or book a meeting.

Harmony Day

Thank you to everyone who embraced Harmony Day on Tuesday by coming to school dressed in your national attire or in orange.  Thank you also to Miss Gumina, Miss Aquino and the Year 3 Blue class for leading the morning assembly.  Here are some photos celebrating the day.

Football Clinics for Year 1 and Pre-Primary

Over the past two weeks, during Physical Education, the Pre-primary and Year 1 students have been actively involved in a Freo Fundamentals clinic run by Fremantle Dockers. Our students have participated in activities run by Fremantle Dockers coaches and female players that promote the development of their fundamental movement skills. In the first clinic, students worked on enhancing their locomotor skills, and in the second week students were taught how to handball a footy. Next week, students will be learning how to do a punt kick of the footy prior to the Year 1 students attending the Fremantle Dockers gala day on Wednesday.
