Heavenly and Almighty Father, I give thanks this day for your great gift of Jesus Christ, that you would love me so much you’d send your only Son to live and die for my sins. I celebrate in his glorious resurrection claiming victory over death and sin. May I daily die to my sin, ever stepping closer to you and your path for my life. Forgive my sins, Lord, and let me live fully in the joy of Christ. Amen.

Year 6 Camp

What a wonderful three days the Year Sixes had at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp this week.  The weather was sensational, the activities were challenging, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time.  A HUGE thank you to Mr Tucker, Miss Cresswell, Mrs Konle, Mrs Finlay, and Mr Mallard for supervising the students and making camp an enjoyable experience.

2024 Parent Teacher Meetings

On Monday, all families should have received a link from the school to book a time for a parent/teacher meeting.  As mentioned in the notice, parent teacher meetings are compulsory and will occur at various times throughout Week 1.  However, the school will close early at 12pm on Friday 19 April to facilitate enough timeslots for parents to meet with their child’s teacher.  The purpose of this compulsory meeting is for teachers to have a 10-15-minute discussion about each student, giving parents an overview of their child’s academic and social/emotional progress.  Due to the early close, pick-up arrangements must be made for your child on this day.  OSHC will be available for enrolled families from 12pm until 6pm.

MJR Workshop - Peter 'Mitch' Mitchell

The school is extremely fortunate to have Mitch, the creator of the MJR program, attend Xavier next term.  On Wednesday 17 April, Mitch will work with our Years 3-6 students during the day, and then with the staff after school.  Xavier is one of only a couple of schools Mitch is visiting while he is in Perth.
