Most wonderful St. Luke you were animated by the Heavenly Spirit of Love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His Divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings.
May the Holy Spirit, instructor of the faithful, help me to understand Christ’s words and faithfully apply them in my life. Amen.
(Saint Luke – October 18)

Welcome Back to Term 4
Welcome back to Term 4. We trust you all had an enjoyable and relaxing break with your children. Welcome back to Mrs Jo Wells who has returned from Long Service Leave and to Mrs Konle who has been Short-Term Principal at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.
If your child is not returning to Xavier in 2024 (except students in Year 6), could you please inform the Office in writing by Friday 24 November. It is a government requirement that you advise Xavier of the new school your child will be attending.
Please remember that there is a Pupil Free Day on Friday 10 November.
Make Jesus Real Award
Congratulations to Jesika Sandhu (Year 6 Gold) who is our recent MJR Award recipient. She was nominated by members of the school community for “Jesika is always respectful, kind and welcoming to all her peers and teachers. She provides acts of service with integrity. This is demonstrated in her servant leadership in whole school events. Jesika is a fabulous role model to not only her classmates but to those people she encounters within the playground and school community. Congratulations on your award Jesika!” The final MJR Award for the year will be presented at the History & Science Assembly on Friday 17 November.

School Fees

As there are only 7 weeks until the end of the school year, this is a reminder to all families that payment of outstanding school fees must be finalised as soon as possible. The payment of fees is part of the contract of enrolment and is essential for the efficient financial management of the school. Please do not hesitate in contacting myself or Finance Officer, Rosa Bicknell if you would like to discuss your child’s school fees.
Book Fair and Parade
The annual school Book Fair commenced this week in the school library. It will continue to be open to families before and after school next Tuesday and Wednesday. Students will also have an opportunity to visit the book fair during their usual class library lesson. Thank you to everyone who dressed up on Wednesday for the annual book parade. It was wonderful to see so many different outfits that linked into this year’s theme – “Read, Grow, Inspire.” Click on the link to view a short movie of the parade.
